She graduated from an English Teacher Training College in Cieszyn and the University of Silesia. Since 2003 she has been working as a teacher at state schools as well as language schools. While working for language schools she had to prepare English for Specific Purposes courses for various professional groups, such as bankers, accountants, engineers, IT specialists and others. She was expected to adjust resources to suit individual needs as well as continually develop her own competence in numerous areas. She ran some European Union language courses for people at all levels and for various age groups (even +45 years old). She prepared her students for FCE, CAE and CPE exams. She has an examiner’s licence for international exams, such as TELC or TOEIC. While working for one of schools in Kraków she gained invaluable experience of teaching international students from Japan, Italy, Spain and France. She polishes her English during trips, especially camps in the south of England where she has classes with French and Spanish students. Due to this experience she has an insight into cultural variety and it requires her to question her teaching methods. At the moment she is a lecturer at Krosno State College where she teaches practical English courses.
