Global Issues Conference
Worldwide, April 4th to 8th, 2016
Call for Student Participation
DEADLINE: December 11th, 2015
After the success of the 1st Global Issues Conference, the organizers are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for GIC 2. As before, the conference is aimed at developing the interconnected nature of the global arena today and encourages discussion and sharing of local opinions. The Global Issues Conference 2 will facilitate further student-centered discussions on a wide range of topics which impact young people and their futures across the globe.
During the weeklong conference, there will be multiple sessions covering topics which have an impact across the globe. The conference will operate online and enable faculty-sponsored undergraduate and graduate students from our Global Partners in Education (GPE) to deliver pre-prepared presentations in a variety of sessions. Each session will be chaired by a faculty member of the GPE organisation and include up to 5 presentations from various institutions.
Selected student papers will be published in a special edition of the Global Partners in Education Journal and certificates will be provided to all participating students and faculty sponsors.
As the GPE encompasses a wide range of academic disciplines and interests, the session topics should provide a global perspective. We encourage presentations on the following topics, presentations on any topic will be considered:
