The second day of the 3rd Annual Global Issues Conference (GIC 3), organized jointly by East Carolina University and State College in Krosno, was focused upon education. Five second year students of the English Department gave a paper on the upcoming reform of education in Poland. The main aim of the paper was to present the findings of a survey conducted among pupils and teachers in local schools. The presentation, made by Kinga Paleczek, Anna Pigoń, Diana Szczepan, Małgorzata Trybus i Jakub Giera, aroused considerable interest among our American partners, which led to a lively discussion that followed.
