The Krosno Summer School will last 12 days, with 10 days of study and two days of excursions to relevant local sites of interest.
The summer school will begin on Monday 17th July and finish on Friday 28th July.
The study days will be structured with morning lectures and afternoon tutorial classes with a break for lunch and a study period in between. The lectures will have a thematic approach on one of the following topics:
· History,
· Social and Cultural effects,
· Language change and development,
· Literature and narratives of the period,
· Contemporary parallels,
· The legacies and modern issues,
· Discussions on other thematic issues.
Afternoon classes will be based on an open discussion forum where attendees can share opinions, knowledge and information on the relevant topics. Additionally, attendees will be asked to deliver a confrence style presentation on their selected topic. A final research paper will also be requested from each attendee to be delivered after the course completition date. Successfully completed papers will be published in a reviewed journal.
